Automatic Daily Quotes Notion Template

Here’s how to use it:

Unfortunately, Notion can’t automatically number pages of a database (yet) and randomize numbers (yet). However, you can get around this. You just have to number each of your quotes in the database using the ‘Num 1’ property. The ‘Num 2’ property changes the cycle of each quote based on a 90-day schedule. So depending on whether the current quarter number of the year is even or odd, a quote will change its number. The formula checks when the number of the quote is that day of the quarter. For example, if it's the 37th day of the Fall quarter, the quote with 37 as its 'Num 2' property will show in the filtered list. Because of this make sure you have 90 quotes. You can always change the formula to choose a quote every day of the year, so you’d need to number 365 quotes.
